A British company, run by people who actually use the kit
Farmstream started back in March 2020, when Callum and Eddie — two engineering graduates fresh out of the University of Edinburgh — set out to fix a simple problem: livestock cameras were expensive, complicated and usually needed an installer to come out and set them up. They were sure there had to be a better way — so they built one.
Everything we make is designed to be set up yourself, straight out of the box, without an engineer or a big bill. That one idea is still what drives us today. What began as a way to help farmers keep an eye on their animals has grown into a trusted name for livestock monitoring and rural security — now relied on by more than 15,000 customers across the UK, from farmers and equestrians to landowners, haulage yards and wildlife watchers.
We're still a small, hands-on team. We answer our own phones, reply to our own emails and genuinely know the cameras inside out — because we use them ourselves. When you deal with Farmstream, you're dealing with real people who want to get you up and running, not a faceless call centre.
